2019 Virtuoso Travel Week Recap #1

After attending the 2019 Virtuoso Travel Week in Vegas, we are now completely re-inspired. A major theme of this year’s Travel Week was The Wanderlist. A Wanderlist is not just a list of places you hope to visit one day. Instead it is an intentional vision for your travel. That’s where we come in! We want to help you make your Wanderlist so we can plan where you are celebrating your next milestone, whether it be your anniversary, birthday, family reunion, etc. In your Wanderlist, let’s include your family Christmas trips, spring breaks and big summer vacations. Checking In: Mandarin Oriental Munich

Munich is certainly a “must see” city in Germany - it has an amazing biergarten culture, fabulous shopping, a park larger than Central Park in New York City, the BMW museum and more. I spent a quick 2 nights here at the beginning of the month before returning home. At the end of my trip, I wanted a hotel with a central location, which is why I chose to stay at The Mandarin Oriental Munich.

Checking In: Palazzo Avino in Ravello, Italy

Palazzo Avino may just be one of my favorite places on earth. I had the opportunity to experience this slice of heaven this past April when I was traveling in Italy. I had just attended DUCO, an invitation-only boutique travel conference that is solely dedicated to Italian travel. After meeting with over 100 Italian hoteliers and tour operators, I wanted to see some of the hotels I sell to my clients so I could advise them from personal experience. Palazzo Avino was a must on my hotel list to see!
